The solution
Hydrodemolition is exceptionally well suited to removing grout with precision under a variety of conditions, without damaging the steel structure. With special (custom-made) demolition heads we can solve virtually any problem. For example, we can remove grout from the transition pieces of offshore wind turbines efficiently and safely using this technique. Together with the client we always look for the best solution with as little nuisance and disruption to the surroundings as possible.

When is grout removal needed?
During the application of grout (pourable mortar) in wind turbines, for example, segregation can occur. As a result, the desired quality is not achieved. Replacing the entire grout layer is often the only option to achieve a good end result. Execution at great depth is possible, and the partly automated process keeps workers out of the danger zone.
