Grout Removal in offshore environments

When grout is placed in the transition pieces of offshore wind turbines, segregation can occur, meaning the desired quality is not achieved. Replacing the entire grout layer is then the only option. ADS removes the grout with hydrodemolition and special custom-made demolition heads, including at great depth and underwater. The existing steel profiles and anchors are fully preserved, while the partially automated process keeps workers outside the risk zone.
